The CougarTown Tailgate will be held at Brazos Park East, 3516 N M.L.K. Jr Blvd, Waco, TX. The park is located 3 miles from Baylor's McLane Stadium.

Tailgate Times

The tailgate will run from 10 am to 1 pm. This way, you'll have 90 minutes to get over to the stadium (3 miles away) before game kick off.

Cougars & Canned Goods Drive

We have the unique opportunity to help the needy and leave a lasting impression on Waco! The BYU Alumni Association is collecting canned soup, canned meat, and baby diapers for Caritas of Waco.

If you're traveling from out of town, pick up some donation items at the store and bring them to the tailgate. Look for donation bins near the BYU Alumni booth at CougarTown!

McLane Stadium at Baylor University has a clear bag and purse policy for all events. Bags can be clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and cannot exceed 12” X 6” X 12” or one-gallon clear plastic freezer bags (Ziploc bag or similar). Clear bags containing logos must have logos no larger than 4.5” tall X 3.4” wide.

NOTE: BYU clear bag totes will be available for purchase at the CougarTown Tailgate.

Refunds: Please note that no refunds will be available for any purchases. In the event of bad weather, the City of Waco may prohibit or limit our use of the Park, and the City's decision is beyond our control. In addition, cancellation of the football game by the NCAA or Baylor is beyond our control. If for any reason the game or tailgate is canceled or otherwise limited in scope, no refunds will be made. (But in the unlikely event this happens, please remember that you’re still getting a great deal on your tickets and proceeds will help pay for local students to attend BYU!)

Ticket Sale Proceeds: All proceeds will help pay for local Texas students to attend BYU and other Church schools.

Volunteers Needed! This event will bring together loyal Cougar fans AND help raise scholarship funds to send Texas youth to BYU and other Church schools.
